For the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games Festival, Kate curated Ecstatic.

This major concert event was led by world-music legend Susheela Raman uniting artists from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. Music, film and performance all featured in a night devoted to creating connections.

The evening featured performances from Kalpana Patowary, Saman Lenin, Rizwan Muazzam Qawwali, Ember Kannan and Pirashanna Thevarajah.
